Check hydraulic fluid levels monthly and top off if needed, using the manufacturer-recommended fluid. Inspect hoses and connections for leaks or wear. If the system operates slowly or makes unusual noises, have it serviced by a professional.
Keep tires properly inflated to the recommended PSI (found on the tire sidewall) to improve fuel efficiency and prevent uneven wear. Inspect tires for cracks, bulges, or punctures before each trip. Check your trailer manual, or rotate them every 5,000–7,000 miles to extend their lifespan.
