This week’s trailer is a custom, 24’ HD Equipment Tilt 6” Channel (TJ). This model features a 16’ tilting deck, on a robust 6” channel frame with 3” channel crossmembers, on 16” centers. With a 16,000 lb. GVWR and the ultra-wide, 82” deck, this trailer is ideal for hauling wider vehicles or equipment.

The TJ has an HD 2 5/16 coupler in an adjustable channel mount. This allows you to easily adjust the height of the coupler to accommodate your tow vehicle and create a safer, more level tow.

This trailer also features a 7-way, all-weather, dual-contact wiring harness. These harnesses are insulated in a heavy-duty silicon sleeve to ensure a safe, reliable connection.

The TJ is also fitted with a 10K, spring-loaded, dropleg jack that makes hitching quick and easy by retracting with the pull of a pin.

This trailer can be customized with deck lengths of 16’, 18’, 20’, 22’, or 24’ like the one in this video. The tilt deck is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder and proportioning valve. The valve allows you to control the rate of tilt with no electronics or controls. This greatly simplifies loading and unloading and removes the need for heavy ramps.

The TJ’s running gear consists of two 8,000 lb. oil-bath, torsion axles with electric brakes. These axles offer a softer ride than most and help to protect cargo from unnecessary shock during transit.

The rear of the trailer is equipped with a 30” knife-edge tail that provides a 12° angle for loading equipment with low ground clearance like scissor lifts or mini excavators.
